ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 27 (Ticker) -- Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley teamed up to send the Orlando Magic into the regular season on a roll.

The starting backcourt combined to score 41 points and spark the Magic to a 109-103 victory over the Miami Heat in the preseason finale for both teams.

The revamped Magic closed the preseason on a four-game winning streak after dropping their first three games. They open the regular season against Milwaukee on Nov. 3.

Francis scored 22 points while Mobley added 19 as they outscored Miami counterparts Dwyane Wade and Eddie Jones, 41-24. Francis scored 12 points in the first quarter as the Magic opened a 31-23 lead.

Orlando stretched its advantage to 64-48 at the break. Hedo Turkoglu, who scored 18 points off the bench for the Magic, had 12 points in the first half, hitting all five of his shots.

Shaquille O'Neal scored 24 points for the Heat. Wade added 18 but shot only 5-of-19 from the field, including 0-of-8 in the first half.

O'Neal scored four points in an 11-0 run that opened the fourth quarter and cut the deficit to 90-84, but the Heat got no closer.

Grant Hill played 26 minutes for Orlando, scoring 14 points and grabbing seven rebounds. Rookie Dwight Howard chipped in 14 points and 13 boards.

Miami dropped its second in a row following a four-game winning streak. It opens the season with a visit to New Jersey on Nov. 3.
